A note from the tech: use aluminium anodes in the Bahamas, not zinc. In warm, brackish water zinc passivates and stops protecting within weeks; aluminium keeps working. And carry a spare shore power inlet — a corroded one is the most common cause of the burnt-plug smell that gets me called to the dock.
