A note from the tech: underwater lights fail at the wire, not the LED. Anything you mount below the waterline should be wired with tinned cable, an adhesive-lined heat-shrink butt connector, and a fuse sized to the light's own spec, not the circuit it's borrowing. And if you're replacing navigation lights on a boat over 12 metres, check the visibility rating — a 2-nautical-mile light on a 40-foot boat is a Coast Guard problem waiting to happen.
